Prayer Time

As revealed in the Qur'an, Luqman said to his son:
"O my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination." (31:17)

A few words, but with so many great meanings.
Why "praying" in particular?
Because it connects us to our Creator. It's our great chance to be connected with the most exalted group. Many people dream of traveling to space, and whoever could do it, will pay a lot of money to companies that organize these trips. But we, Muslims, can stand between the hands of the Creator of this universe at the lowest cost and effort.

How do I contact Allah?
Simply, establish prayer

Why did Luqman say "Establish prayer" and did not say "pray"?
Because establishing prayer means the proper and complete performance of prayer along with the achievement of reverence and all its pillars, not just a performance similar to exercise.

When we perform the prayers, we give ourselves immunity against immorality and wrongdoing, Allah Almighty says:

"Recite, [O Muhammad], what has been revealed to you of the Book and establish prayer. Indeed, prayer prohibits immorality and wrongdoing, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. And Allah knows that which you do." (29:45)

What a great advice!
