Verse(Ayah) no. (49)

{وَإِذْ نَجَّيْنَاكُمْ مِنْ آَلِ فِرْعَوْنَ يَسُومُونَكُمْ سُوءَ الْعَذَابِ يُذَبِّحُونَ أَبْنَاءَكُمْ وَيَسْتَحْيُونَ نِسَاءَكُمْ وَفِي ذَلِكُمْ بَلَاءٌ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ عَظِيمٌ}

And recall Our favor on you, when We saved you from the oppression of Pharaoh and his followers, who were afflicting you with the worst torment, continuously slaughtering your (newborn) sons and keeping your females (alive) for service and indignity. And that was a test for you from your Lord, and saving you from it is a great blessing, which requires thanking Allah at all your times and generations.

Verse(Ayah) no. (50)

{وَإِذْ فَرَقْنَا بِكُمُ الْبَحْرَ فَأَنْجَيْنَاكُمْ وَأَغْرَقْنَا آَلَ فِرْعَوْنَ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ}

And recall Our favor on  you, when We parted the sea for you, and made within it dry routes (for you) then you crossed, and We saved you from Pharaoh and his soldiers and from doom in the water. Then when Pharaoh and his soldiers took your routes, We drowned them in the water while you were looking at them.

Verse(Ayah) no. (51)

{وَإِذْ وَاعَدْنَا مُوسَى أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذْتُمُ الْعِجْلَ مِنْ بَعْدِهِ وَأَنْتُمْ ظَالِمُونَ}

And recall Our favor on you: when We made an appointment with Moses forty nights to send down the Torah, in which was guidance and light for you. But you took advantage of his absence for this short period and worship the calf made by your hands without Allah -this is the worst form of disbelief in Allah- and you were offenders by making  the calf God.

Verse(Ayah) no. (52)

{ ثُمَّ عَفَوْنَا عَنْكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ ذَلِكَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ}

Then We forgave this evil deed and accepted your repentance after the return of Moses; so perhaps you will thank Allah for His grace and favors, and not persist in disbelief and transgression.

Verse(Ayah) no. (53)

{ وَإِذْ آَتَيْنَا مُوسَى الْكِتَابَ وَالْفُرْقَانَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ}

And recall Our favor  on you when We gave Moses the Scripture that which differentiates between the truth and falsehood - i.e. the Torah - that perhaps you would be guided

Verse(Ayah) no. (54)

{ وَإِذْ قَالَ مُوسَى لِقَوْمِهِ يَا قَوْمِ إِنَّكُمْ ظَلَمْتُمْ أَنْفُسَكُمْ بِاتِّخَاذِكُمُ الْعِجْلَ فَتُوبُوا إِلَى بَارِئِكُمْ فَاقْتُلُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ ذَلِكُمْ خَيْرٌ لَكُمْ عِنْدَ بَارِئِكُمْ فَتَابَ عَلَيْكُمْ إِنَّهُ هُوَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ}

And recall Our favor  on  you, when Moses said to his people: You have wronged yourselves by considering the calf as God, so repent to your Creator through killing each other. That is best for you in the sight of your Creator than remaining eternally in the Hellfire. Then you complied with it, so Allah bestowed (a great) favor upon you when He accepted your repentance. He the Almighty is the One Who always Accepts repentance from the repentant among His slaves, and the Most Merciful on them.

Verse(Ayah) no. (55)

{ وَإِذْ قُلْتُمْ يَا مُوسَى لَنْ نُؤْمِنَ لَكَ حَتَّى نَرَى اللَّهَ جَهْرَةً فَأَخَذَتْكُمُ الصَّاعِقَةُ وَأَنْتُمْ تَنْظُرُونَ}

And recall when you said, "O Moses, we will never believe that the words we hear from you are Allah's words until we see Allah outright; then a fire came down from the sky which you saw with your eyes, and killed you because of your sins, and for daring Allah the Almighty.

Verse(Ayah) no. (56)

{ثُمَّ بَعَثْنَاكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَوْتِكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ}

Then We revived you after your death because of thunderbolt, that perhaps you would thank Allah for His grace upon you. this death was a punishment for them, then Allah revived them to complete the rest of their time in life.

Verse(Ayah) no. (57)

{ وَظَلَّلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْغَمَامَ وَأَنْزَلْنَا عَلَيْكُمُ الْمَنَّ وَالسَّلْوَى كُلُوا مِنْ طَيِّبَاتِ مَا رَزَقْنَاكُمْ وَمَا ظَلَمُونَا وَلَكِنْ كَانُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ يَظْلِمُونَ}

And recall Our favor on you, when you were wandering throughout the land; that We made the clouds shade you (to protect you) from the heat of the sun, and sent down (to you) Al-Manna - i.e. something like gum and it tastes like honey, and We sent down As-Salwa -i.e. birds that look like quails-  for you, and We said to you: Eat from the good things with which We have provided you, and do not violate your religion. But they disobeyed. (Indeed) They did not wronged Us by denying (Our) favors, but they were (only) wronging themselves; Because they suffer the consequence of wrongdoing.

To be continued, insha Allah…
