Makkah Tower Prophet Alhamdulillaah Muharram Muharram 2 Muharram 3 Ashura 12 Months Good Advice Sincerity 5

  |      |

Almost everyone is surrounded by some curious people, who frequently ask questions, whether for cause, stick their noses in everything, and insist on knowing the most intimate details about our lives; to discuss those news and secrets with others, and thus our lives become an open book, everyone can read it without fear of Allah who will punish them for backbiting, slandering, and divulging others' secrets

This is further complicated by the fact that there are wives who suffer from their curious neighbors or relatives who live with them in the same house. It is difficult to put an end to their blatant intervention and irritating curiosity unless they decide to boycott them completely, which in turn may lead to family disputes, divorce, hostility and hatred, and turns the home into an unbearable hell.

Therefore, each new wife should define limits and red lines around her to preserve safety and stability of her life and to protect her privacy from the evil of curiosity patients, who are often the cause of marriage or family breakup.

Also, she should not intrude into others' privacy nor stick her nose in everything. A new wife must be a woman of few words, and preserves her tongue from getting in trouble in this world, and from Allah's punishment in the afterlife.

In general, we all must close every door that may bring us evil and harm of any kind. We should not intrude into others' lives, nor allow them to intrude into ours. We should choose the trustworthy and honest people to be the repositories of our secrets, and the merciful hearts during times of distress and pain, those who gently advise us, and try to solve our problems in peace.

قال تعالى:" ما يلفظ من قول إلا لديه رقيب عتيد" ( ق: 18)

Translation: "Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]." (50:18)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, "It is from the excellence of (a believer's) Islam that he should shun that which is of no concern to him".

[According to At-Tirmidhi and others].

It was also narrated that 'Abd-Allah ibn Mas'ood (may Allah be pleased with him) said: By Allah, the one, there is no god but Him, nothing needs a long-term imprisonment but my tongue. He also said, "O tongue, say good words, sing, and stop talking about bad things to be safe and not regretful"
