Allaah says :

In order to make Satan's suggestions a trial for those whose hearts are diseased, and those whose hearts are hardened. The wrongdoers are in profound discord.” (Hajj: 53).

The verse outlined that the suspicions of the devil is sedition for two types of people:

The first category: the one who has a disease in his heart; any weakness of faith and least suspicion affect this category, if they listen to suspicion  they get engulfed with doubts then you see them looking at you like the one occupied with death  from the weakness of their hearts , and the lack of certainty,  and the play of the infidels with their minds.

This type of person is not treated by refuting his suspicion, because he  will return to you with a new suspicion after hours, rather, he is treated by guiding him to  acts of worship, and remembrance of Allah, contemplation on the Qur’an and  (giving him) knowledge of the signs of validity of Islam and (taking him) away from desires,  sins and suspicions.

The second category: they are the cruel hearts. These are the people of the world and its lovers. The hearts of such people find solace in any suspicion. It increases their attachment to the world and reassures them of the truth of their deep pleasures seeking position.

For this category, their treatment is knowledge of the dunya (world) and its trivialness, and that death may expose them at any moment. The treatment of this category is (by reading) books on admonition and (books on) conditions of the righteous.

That which the devil casts of suspicions is a trial (fitnah) for these (the above) two types, then Allah distinguishes the good from the evil.

As for the believers, the following verse speaks directly to them :

"And so that those endowed with knowledge may know that it is the truth from your Lord, and so believe in it, and their hearts soften to it. Allaah guides those who believe to a straight path." ( Al-Hajj, 54).

For this category, when suspicion appears to them they refer it to the arbitrator (the Qur’an and Sunnah) and then they adjust its origin. They therefore, are increased in faith after the divine right and wisdom has been made clear to them. For such category, they are aided to easily reject suspicion and to control it, because they submit everything to Allah affirming that everything He reveals is the truth.

These noble  verses from the chapter of Hajj tells you about the most important issue faced by contemporary youth, namely the issue of suspicions and how it has the wisdom of distinguishing between humans and to fulfill the commandments of Allah (takleef).

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) informs that suspicions will increase in the last days and the most clement of people would be confused due to it. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Hasten to do good deeds; (there will be) fitnah like a portion of a dark night, wherein an individual wakes up as a believer and begins the night as a disbeliever or he begins the night as a believer and wakes up as a disbeliever. He sells his religion for a portion of the dunya (this worldly life). Saheeh Muslim, 118.

Here the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) informs about the disease and medicine. He said to you, "hasten to do good deeds, and it will help bring the world under control  so that you do not get attached to it, otherwise, it will open up suspicions and hence deceive you and  culminate you into destruction.
