In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. May Allah bestow His peace and blessings upon His Servant and Messenger Muhammad, his family and Companions.

Islam is much more than a religion, but it is also a complete way of life. In addition to spiritual and moral guidance, the pages of the Quran, Islam's holiest text book, contain directions for virtually all aspects of life.

Some of the prophet's companions(may Allah be pleased with them) went to ‘Aishah, the prophet's wife(may Allah be pleased with her) asking about the behavior of the apostle of Allah(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), perhaps she will tell them something they have not seen from him, or something they did not know. She was his wife and the closest person to him. She knew what others did not know. They said:

[O' mother of the believers; How was the behavior of the Messenger of Allah( peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? She replied them with three words in which all the meanings were gathered. She said: "his behavior is Al-Qur'an].

Aishah(may Allah be pleased with her) has left for us with these few words a comprehensive answer, a complete description, and a revealing description of the Prophet(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) that anyone who has little relation with the holy Qur'an knows it.

Thus, whoever  wants to know his act of worships(peace be upon him) should read the holy Qur'an. Whoever wants to know his morals (may Allah bless him and grant him peace)  should read the Qur'an. And whoever wants to know his behaviors and his dealings with those around him (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) should read the Qur'an. All his life affairs is in accordance to the Qur'an.  He(peace be upon him) did not devote for a side without the side, or an aspect and leave the other, but He was an applicant of the Qur'an living among the people and an Islamist that speaks between the creations.

Aishah(may Allah be pleased with her) with these wonderful words is sending a message to every slave of Allah, the Most High.  A message to every reformer who is seeking to reform his society and nation. A message to me and you and to every Muslim who wishes to present the true image of Islam that the heart of the people will accept it. A message that says: Islam and calling into it is not just rhetoric words, nor sermons that address the ears of the people without having a share of the practical impact. Allah says in the Qur’an:

{وَلْيَعْفُوا وَلْيَصْفَحُوا أَلَا تُحِبُّونَ أَن يَغْفِرَ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ}.

{… And they should pardon and forgive. Do you not love that Allah should forgive you? And Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.} Qur'an 24:22.

He, the exalted also said:

{وَإِنَّكَ لَعَلَى خُلُقٍ عَظِيمٍ}.

{And you are on an exalted standard of character.} Quran 68:4

And the messenger of Allah(peace be upon him) said:

[إِنَّمَا بُعِثْتُ لِأُتَمِّمَ صَالِحَ الْأَخْلَاقِ].

{I was sent to complete the good characters} (Ahmad 14/513).

message says: Islam does not need the cleverness of the tongue and the firmness of the statement as much as the role model needs to prove that this religion is complete in all its aspects, and far from deviation in every aspect.

But it does not say that just by the tongue, but it proves it by reality and  behavior. “The fact that there is no escape from it that religion is good conduct, and that no matter how we call to Islam with words as long as we violate it with our deeds, no one will accept it from us and we will be like the bandit who says to others come to me and his deed is saying to them don’t mind him, and if what they are saying is true, they would have not violated it and they would have be the first people who adhere  to its guidance. We are ostensibly guidance, but in fact we are bandits” as said by Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him).

So, good conduct in dealing with people is a pre-requisite in Islam and therefore very important in our daily dealings with others. May Allah bless us with good Islamic characters in our interactions with our fellow humans.
