The Affliction of Some of the Creation by Each Other: 3.

They said to prophet Nuh (peace be upon him):

{They said, "Should we believe you while you are followed by the lowest [class of people]?}. (Ash-shura:111).

Therefore, our Lord, the exalted says:

{And thus We have tried some of them through others that the disbelievers might say, "Is it these whom Allah has favored among us?" Is not Allah most knowing of those who are grateful?}. (Al-An'am:53).

And one of them used to mocked these weak people, and refused to accept Islam, so he and them alike. And perhaps one of them abstained from Islam because this poor person accepted before him, and became antecedent over him in rank. Allah has explained the state of the two parties in this world and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. Allah says:

{Indeed, there was a party of My servants who said, 'Our Lord, we have believed, so forgive us and have mercy upon us, and You are the best of the merciful* But you took them in mockery to the point that they made you forget My remembrance, and you used to laugh at them * Indeed, I have rewarded them this Day for their patient endurance - that they are the attainers [of success}. (Mu'minoon:109-111).

These weak believers have attained success, because of their patient endurance of themselves to obey Allah and succeeded in the trial, and those(unbelievers) have lost because they disobeyed Allah and considered themself great against His obedience, and did not restrain themselves to the truth, by which He tested them. For this, He said in the previous verse:

{Will you have patience? And ever is your Lord, Seeing}. (Al-Furqaan:20).

Will you have patience on the truth, and succeed in the trial?. It is a question which means command, i.e. be patient.

{And ever is your Lord, Seeing}. i.e: your actions and positions towards this sedition,  that He may recompense those who do evil with [the penalty of] what they have done and recompense those who do good with the best [reward].

This appendix is also a severe threat to the oppressor to stop injustice, because Allah sees his injustice, and He, the exalted does not love the oppressors, and He will extend the time of enjoyment for the unjust, so that when He get hold of him, he will not escape. And therein is a sympathy and condolence for the oppressed that Allah, the Almighty sees what falls upon him from injustice, and He, Glory be He, will help the oppressed, and make the good end for the righteous.

To be continued, insha Allah…
